RESET - Resources for post-pandemic effective Training

Through the implementation of RESET, the partnership expects to contribute to increasing the resilience and attractiveness capacity as well as the efficiency level of the VET system in response to the COVID-19 emergency and in compliance with the European policy of digitization of the VET System.

RESET will achieve this objective through the translation of the DigiCompEDU components, highlighted as critical for the teaching staff, tutors, coordinators in training pills and innovative, clear, easy-to-apply operational guidelines.

RESET will also develop an innovative Multidimensional Matrix which, by combining the DigiCompEDU and DigCompOrg dimensions, makes them adaptable to diversified training contexts and organizational programs, supporting the VET digitalization or organizational process in a rational and exhaustive way.

Project Aims

PR2:Digital skills and resilience of the VET system:Stock-Taking & Benchmarking

  • ACTIVITY 1. Methodology of work.Shared methodology for mapping, analysing, identifying and classifying e-skills for VET providers.The methodology will define guidelines to be followed by the partners to ensure consistency in mapping, analysis and production activities.
  • ACTIVITY 2. Mapping of digital competences for VET operators.
  • ACTIVITY 3. Digital Competences and VET System Resilience: Stock-Taking & Benchmarking.

PR3:RESET Training & Operational Tools to BoostDigCompEdu in Operational VET Settings

  • ACTIVITY 1.Development ofthe Platform structure.
  • ACTIVITY 2. Maintenance and continued operation of the platform
  • ACTIVITY 3. Validation Plan. The plan will define timelines, guidelines for delivery, collection of feedback from users, reporting models.
  • ACTIVITY 4. RESET delivery: Partners will deliver the RESET Trainings and Tools to at least 180 representatives of the target group (VET practitioners) and collect their feedback on relevance and quality of the courses and tools, delivery methods, accessibility of resources. Each partner will produce a "Validation Report".
  • ACTIVITY 5. RESET Validated.

PR4:Multidimensional Matrix and Scoring Mechanism forRESET Adoption across EU VET Ecosystem

  • ACTIVITY 1. Identification/definition of the macro-categories for the construction of the Matrix.
  • ACTIVITY 2. Identification of the indicators reference indicators for each macro-category.
  • ACTIVITY 3. Matrix construction by assigning each indicator a reference value and weight within the matrix and mechanism of measurement.
  • ACTIVITY 4. Guidelinesfor other VET operators for the adoption and use of RESET in other operational areas.
  • ACTIVITY 5. Translation of all PR4 products into the project languages.

How will you benefit from it?

  • Improve the performance of teachers as developers and providers of effective andinclusive remote and blended training content;
  • Raise the skills of tutors/coordinators and operational staff in the coordination and tutoring of training activities in online or blended inclusive mode, sustainable from a pedagogical and economic point of view;
  • Raise the qualitative level of IVET and CVET digital educational environments;
  • Equip VET organizations to adequately support their users with innovative, effective, and captivating training solutions;
  • Initiate/enhance the process of digitization, growth, and internationalization of the various partnerships;
  • Acquire knowledge, practices, and experiences from other operational realities of the VET/education ecosystem of Europe.
