Erasmus+ KA2 – Strategic partnerships (2014-1-ES01-KA202-003695)

The Challenge

Started in December in 2014, the GreeNSMatch project is a 2-year initiate aimed at reducing the gap between green education and training offer and green employment by cooperating, innovating and by pooling good practises. The GreeNSMatch project aims at supporting the growth of the green economy through the provision of training strategies in line with SMEs requirements and training paths that anticipate possible green skills mismatches. The project is targeted to SMEs and in particular companies operating in 4sectors: Recycling & waste management, Transportation & logistics, Vehicle manufacturing and Agro and food industry. The project is also targeted to Vocational Education and Training providers, business associations, public employment services and policy makers.

The Outputs

  • Identification of measures for the development of the green economy
  • Identification of labour needs of the current green market in selected companies
  • Identification of 15 green occupations and their respective competency profiles in the selected sectors;
    Identification and arrangement of training resources
  • Identification of best practices focused on reducing the gaps between existing skills and needs of the labour market
  • Creation of 15 roadmaps to meet the need of employment and training on the identified occupations.

     

    The Consortium

    The project is lead by the Câmara Oficial de Comercio e Industria de Zaragoza in Spain. The chamber cooperates with strong partners from three other European countries that garantees a wide impact. Further partners are Fundación Cultural Privada Empresa-Universidade de Zaragoza (ES), Inovamais – Serviços de Consultoria em Inovação Tecnológica, S.A. (PT), EEO Group S.A. (EL) and IHK-Projektgesellschaft mbH (DE).
